A note about pictures on sandronesta.com

I'll first post it here. To whom it may concern:

As I said in the "about" page, you can use the picture provided all the watermarks are retained. Actually, it is not our intention to add our own tag. It is a direct result of some site owner (in fact just one)'s consistent ignoring of my kind requests to acknowledge the sources. I consider it intentionally as I have commented on his/her site for at least five times. But still, I see pictures posted there with watermarks intentionally removed. I don't understand why it is so hard to acknowledge other people's efforts. I really don't.

I'd say it aloud here. It is easy for me to add watermarks hard to remove but it is not what a fan site is about. The watermarking already creates extra work for me. So, I hope my work can be appreciated.

Thank you for your time and understanding.

...a Siena fan called Nesta "traitor"....

at the end of the game, referring his good form due to not playing in the Nazionale....And Sandro admitted that effort and sacrifice in the Nazionale do influence the output of a player in the championship...

I am not happy with the "traitor" thing...Once again -_-

I updated sandronesta.com with some new picture and ratings, and the reports regarding this "traitor" thing....

gazzetta, comes later, but there's an article named" Nesta saves Milan at Siena" says:

SANTO NESTA - L'attacco in massa del Milan è improduttivo quanto l'inefficacia di Gilardino, all'ennesima stecca. Ma la sua prestazione è direttamente proporzionale alla prova dei compogni di squadra, dove si distinguono solo Seedorf, Nesta e Cafu. Ma ci pensa proprio Nesta, in pieno recupero, a scacciare l'incubo con un bolide in area; fin troppo per Eleftheropoulos, autentico eroe della giornata. (which basically is saying that Saint Nesta was perfect in defense and  was also helping attacks. The true hero of the day.)

Corriere dello Sport Nesta 7.5, highest, others will be posted later

republlica Nesta 7 highest highest, others will be posted later

Corriere della Sera Nesta 7,highest, others will be posted later

ilGiornale
4.5 DIDA. 5.5 CAFU.
7 NESTA. Gli tocca difendere e fare gol, visto che davanti latitano. L’addio alla nazionale alla fine si rivekla un bel servigio per il Milan.
5 KALADZE.
5 FAVALLI. 5 GATTUSO. . (Dal 1 st INZAGHI 6).5.5 EMERSON. 6 BROCCHI. 5 GOURCUFF. 7 SEEDORF. 4.5 GILARDINO. All. ANCELOTTI 6.

Siena 1-1 Milan post-match comments

from ACMilan.com

"E' stata una partita sfortunata. Il Siena ha fatto soltanto un tiro e di conseguenza un gol. E' stato un episodio particolare, meritavamo di vincere noi.
La partita è andata a fasi alterne, c'è stata un po' di confusione. Riguardo al mio gol non ho voluto esultare, peccato invece per la traversa di Clarence alla fine, ma purtroppo è andata così.
Adesso speriamo di partire subito bene martedì sera in Champions con un gran Milan."

English translation also from ACMilan.com

"It was an unlucky match. Siena had one shot and scored one goal. It was just an episode, we would have deserved to win.
The game was very uneven, it was a bit of a confused game. I did not celebrate my goal very fanatically, too bad Clarence's free kick hit the crossbar, unfortunately it went like that.
Now let's hope to start well in the Champions League again and show a great Milan side."

----also, Sandro is SkySport's Man of the Match and the interview video was posted before. Don't miss that!

video: Nesta interview after the game!

Nesta: MERITAVAMO I TRE PUNTI

post-match comments:

Meritavamo sicuramente di più - ha detto a Sky il difensore rossonero al termine della sfida - loro hanno fatto un tiro ed un gol. Meritavamo i 3 punti per quello che abbiamo fatto, ma va bene lo stesso''

sandronesta.com is out on beta release :)

while I am searching for the pictures for this game, you might want to take a look at the new site. sandronesta.com It's very preliminary and is on beta release.

Just one thing, Windows users please use FireFox. I.E. is not supported well. I don't know why, I've been working and testing on Mac without any problem.

Your comments and suggestions would be greatly appreciated:)

oh, I might stop posting here once I feel comfortable there!

Nesta goal!!!!!!!!!!!!

and I quote the commentator: look at that strike, absolutely unstoppable!!! And it is Alessandro Nesta that rescues Milan!!!!!!

Yes, it is him and the goal is not the only thing he did that rescues Milan!

Congrats to Ancelotti

for winning the best coach award from the European Sport Magazine group for season 06-07.
I don't usually post non-Nesta related stuff but this doesn't hurt: Ancelotti has told gazzetta that:

"If they don't give the Golden Ball to Kaka I will chain myself in front of the France Football headquarters. "

Nesta met the Azzurri at Milanello @@

It was reported that Sky has captured the "reunion" of Nesta with the Azzurri when both having lunch at Milanello @@@@@

Both gazzetta and sky are saying that, Nesta must have "suffered" a lot as he had to greet every single Azzurri player and he sit very close to Pippo Inzaghi (together with De Rossi), who, immediately, put his Azzurro sweater onto Nesta's shoulder...Nesta couldn't do anything other than smile...and then he joined his Milan companions.

OK, here comes the video from sky (comes without sound@@)

Today's news flash from milanchannel has just a little bit of Milan players with those in Azzurri, NOT the incident mentioned above though:

FourFourTwo magazine: Nesta on Top 100 current footballer list

I haven't got the magazine yet but my friends told me Sandro was ranked 36th @@@@

Milan players on the list

Pirlo: 14th
Gattuso 26th
Maldini: 28th
Nesta: 36th
Seedorf: 46th
Ronaldo 50th
Inzaghi: 90th
Pato: 99th
